Mariucci Family Foundation
The Mariucci Family Foundation, started by former San Francisco 49ers head coach Steve Mariucci, supports Special Olympics athletes and multiple other organizations in the community. The annual Battle of the Bay bocce tournament, hosted by the Mariucci Family Foundation, has raised more than $1 million for local Special Olympics athletes in 10+ years!
We are inspired by the strength, positive attitude, and perseverance that Special Olympics athletes demonstrate every day.

Meet Ryan Epidendio
Ryan (center, right) is a Special Olympics Athlete & Athlete Leader in Santa Clara who has participated in Special Olympics for more than 25 years.
Ryan has annually participated in the Coach Mooch Battle of the Bay bocce fundraiser and Coach Mariucci’s Football Camp for the Stars.
