Non-Sport Volunteer Roles
Office Volunteer
For inquiries about office volunteer opportunities, please email us at . These volunteers primarily help at the Pleasant Hill or Sacramento offices. Duties can range from filing to data entry
Time Commitment
Minimum once per week for an agreed-upon duration. Times of day are negotiable.
Qualifications
Competent on computer software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, or Google Suite. All office volunteers are required to complete an application and online orientation. If 18 and over, they must also pass a background check.
Volunteer Photographer/Videographer
Volunteer Photographer/Videographer
We rely largely on volunteer photographers to capture our competitions and fundraising events.
Time Commitment
Usually 3-4 hours at a one-day event, plus varying post-production time.
Qualifications
Professional or amateur photographer with a passion for capturing sports and events. Volunteer photographers must complete a media waiver.

Internship Opportunities
Our internship program offers students and recent graduates the chance to gain hands-on experience while supporting the mission of Special Olympics Northern California. Interns will work alongside staff, contributing to various projects that align with their academic and career goals.
