Fitness Programs
The Special Olympics Walking Club aims to bring together individuals with and without intellectual disabilities for non-competitive physical activity. Our club provides the platform for individuals to challenge themselves, establish friendships and exercise. All members of the Special Olympics community – coaches, family members, volunteer groups and caregivers – are welcome to join!
We offer adaptive fitness both in-person and virtually during the year. Our most recent Fitness Season was a six-week program in partnership with William Jessup University. Kinesiology students led athletes in performance training and gained hands-on experience coaching our population. Stay tuned for updates on future fitness seasons in your area!
